Irving Montgomery Palmer

Captain Irving Montgomery Palmer, D.S.C., R.N. (23 January, 1889 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Armagh.
Palmer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1911.
Palmer was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 April, 1919.
Palmer was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1925.
Palmer was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1932.
Palmer was appointed in command of the battleship Centurion in January, 1935.
