Paymaster Commander Hughes Campbell Lockyer, (2 September, 1902 – 17 November, 1971) was an officer in the Royal Navy in the Paymaster branch.
He was named for his father, Captain Hughes Campbell Lockyer, C.B..
Life & Career
Lockyer may have been born in Nova Scotia. His father was navigating officer in H.M.S. Irresistible at the time.
Lockyer was promoted to the rank of Paymaster Commander with seniority of 30 June, 1939.[1]
