Captain (retired) Hugh Salvin Bowlby, R.N. (18 September, 1888 – ) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Bowlby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1910.[1]
Was involved in the Gallipoli campaign.
Bowlby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1918.[2]
Bowlby was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1924.[3]
Bowlby was placed on the Retired List at his own request at the rank of Captain on 18 September, 1934.[4]
World War II
Some service indicated, starting with a yacht. He was ill in 1941.[5]
