Captain Hugh Gardiner Glennie, O.B.E. (14 June, 1874 – December, 1947) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Glennie was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 14 February, 1895.

Glennie was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1904.

Glennie was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 30 June, 1906.

He served in the Great War at the torpedo training school H.M.S. Actæon and at Vernon's Mining School.

Glennie was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 30 June, 1919.
