Lieutenant Hugh Clifford Holled Coxe, R.N. (9 April, 1891 – 1 January, 1915) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of man working for the Indian Civil Service.

On 12 May, 1910 he was admitted to Chatham Hospital for tonsillitis. He was found fit on the 24th.

Coxe was promoted to the rank of Sub-Lieutenant on 30 October, 1911.

Coxe was appointed to the battleship Formidable on 23 September 1913. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 October, 1913 and died when Formidable was torpedoed by U 24 in the English Channel on New Year's Day, 1915.
