Lieutenant Hugh Babington, D.S.C. (1 September, 1892 – 27 November, 1919) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Babington was promoted to Sub-Lieutenant on 15 January, 1912.[1]
On 15 June, 1914, he was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant.[2] He was appointed to Arrogant for duty in the submarine C 17 in August, 1914.[3]
He was appointed in command of the patrol boat PC 63 on 2 September, 1918.[4]
Died of meningitis while on leave.
