Captain (retired) Hubert Stansbury, C.B., C.B.E., R.N. (9 May, 1873 – 11 June, 1949) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Stansbury was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant in August, 1893.

Stansbury was promoted to the rank of Commander in December, 1905.

Stansbury was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 24 August, 1910 with the rank of Captain.

Stansbury served as a Transport Officer in a variety of capacities in the Great War.
