Captain Herbert John Savill, Royal Navy (20 May, 1870 – 5 June, 1916) was an officer of the Royal Navy).

Life & Career

Herbert John Savill was born on 20 May, 1870, the son of Lieutenant-Colonel S. G. Savill.[1]

Savill was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 14 December, 1891.[2]

Savill was promoted to the rank of Commander on 26 June, 1902.[3]

He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1907.[4]
