Commander Herbert Call, R.N., Retired (11 February, 1885 – 6 January, 1947) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Call was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1906.[1]
In May of 1913, Captain Nicholson reported that Call was "V nervous" and "not fit for offr of watch at sea."
Suffering from neurasthenia, Call was placed on the Retired List as medically unfit on 5 February, 1914.
Call was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1914.
Call was promoted to the rank of Commander on 11 February, 1925.
