Admiral Henry Coare Kingsford, Royal Navy, Retired (7 January, 1858, – 1 March, 1941) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
On 1 September, 1884, he was appointed to the Junior Staff of H.M.S. Cambridge, gunnery ship at Devonport.[1]
Kingsford was promoted to the rank of Commander on 1 January, 1894.[2]
Captain
Kingsford was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1899.[3]
Kingsford was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 7 March, 1912,[4] and was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 10 February, 1914,[5] and to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 2 July, 1917.[6]
