Journals of HMS BRISTOL England-West Indies-England Dec 1870-71 and HMS ARIADNE England-Mediterranean-England Jan-Jul 1872, both with the Hon. Walter Carpenter as Captain and kept by F.T. Hamilton when a naval cadet and midshipman.
