H.M. T.B. 8 was one of thirty-six first-class torpedo boats of the Cricket class.

Originally named H.M.S. Gnat, her name was changed to Torpedo Boat No. 8 in 1907.

Construction & Service

T.B. 8 was completed at Chiswick on 15 March, 1907 and commissioned with a crew from the Medway depot for service in the Sheerness-Chatham Flotilla of the Home Fleet.[7]
