H.M.S. Zubian (1917)
Pendant Number: D.20 (Aug 1917)
D.99 (Jan 1918)[1]
Builder: Chatham Royal Dockyard[2]
Launched: 7 Jun, 1917[3]
Commissioned: 2 Jul, 1917[4]
Sold: 9 Dec, 1919[5]

H.M.S. Zubian was a playfully-named destroyer created by joining the forward section of the mined Zulu to the aft part of the Nubian, which had been torpedoed. The result was a serviceably spliced craft which one might call one of the "Tribals".

Service

On 4 February, 1918, she sank the UC 50.[6]

In July of 1918, Zubian was serving in the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla, part of the Dover Patrol.
