H.M.S. Wild Swan was one of five Osprey Class composite screw sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

She was renamed H.M.S. Clyde in 1904 and then H.M.S. Columbine in 1912.

Service

Commissioned at Devonport on 22 January, 1885 under Commander John Salwey Hallifax for service in the Pacific.[4]

Renamed H.M.S. Columbine in 1912, by March 1913 she was appropriated as a hulk for office accommodation for the King's Harbour Master, Rosyth.[5]
