H.M.S. Wetherby was one of thirty-two Ascot Class paddle minesweepers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Arrived at Kirkwall on 29 August, 1919[7] and at Rosyth on 22 September.[8]

In January, 1921, she was at Southampton, one of twenty-eight paid off minesweepers there.[9]
