H.M.S. Westminster was one of twenty-one "W" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Commissioned on 14 April, 1918.[7]

She and several sister ships were re-commissioned at Port Edgar on 27 September, 1923 to serve with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla as part of the Atlantic Fleet.[8]
