H.M.S. Vortigern was one of twenty-five "V" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Vortigern was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 11 December, 1920.[6]

She was re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 3 May, 1923 and joined the First Destroyer Flotilla with the Atlantic Fleet.[7]
