H.M.S. Ulster was one of sixty-two "R" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1916-17.

Service

Ulster joined the Thirteenth Destroyer Flotilla in November, 1917.[8]

She re-commissioned in Reserve at the Nore on 15 October, 1919.[9]

Captains

Dates of appointment are provided when known.

Patrick Butter was to be appointed 17 January 1919,[22] but this was cancelled according to his service record.
