H.M.S. Tyrant was one of sixty-two "R" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1916-17.

Service

Tyrant reduced to Reserve at Portsmouth on 28 April, 1919.[8]

She was reduced to Reserve Complement on 27 October, 1933 and was assigned to the Portsmouth Local Destroyer Flotilla.[9]
