H.M.S. Tenedos was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending. She was completed after the war.

The old ironclad Triumph was re-named Tenedos in 1904.

Service

Tenedos was completed to Full crew at Portsmouth on 17 October, 1919.[6]

Re-commissioned on 30 June, 1921.[7]

She paid off into Maintenance Reserve in Rosyth on 15 November, 1927.[8]

Commissioned at Rosyth on 16 September, 1930.[9]

Paid off into Reserve at Portsmouth on 1 June, 1932.[10]
