Completed in mid-1902, H.M.S. Sutlej was one of six Cressy class cruisers.

Service

Recommissioned at Devonport on 8 February, 1911 for work with the Home Fleet.[8]

Recommissioned at Sheerness on 11 April, 1913 for work with Third Fleet.[9]

At the outbreak of the Great War, Sutlej joined Cruiser Force F of the Channel Fleet before being sent to join Cruiser Force I.[10]
