H.M.S. Sturgeon was one of sixty-two "S" Class submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Sturgeon was commissioned on 15 December, 1932.[1]

By October 1935, she was part of the Sixth Submarine Flotilla.[2]

Sturgeon was commissioned in the Royal Netherlands Navy on 14 October 1943 and renamed Zeehond.
