H.M.S. Sturdy was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending.

Service

Sturdy was reduced to Reserve on 5 March, 1920.[6]

Commissioned on 6 October, 1927.[7]

Commissioned at Rosyth on 11 March 1931 for service "in Irish Waters".[8]

Paid off 22 June, 1932.[9]
