H.M.S. Strenuous was one of sixty-seven "S" class destroyers built for the Royal Navy as the Great War was ending. She was completed just after the war ended.

Service

Strenuous was re-commissioned with Reserve Complement at Devonport on 6 May, 1920.[6]

She was re-commissioned on 19 May, 1922.[7]

Paid off into Maintenance Reserve on 20 December, 1927.[8]
