H.M.S. Shannon served in the Second Cruiser Squadron at the Battle of Jutland. She was commanded by Captain John Saumarez Dumaresq.

Report of Proceedings

Taken from the Official Despatches.[1] The report from Captain Dumaresq includes a report from his gunnery officer, Lieutenant-Commander (G) Frederic W. Bennett.
