H.M.S. Scarborough was one of five Hastings Class sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Chatham on 21 October, 1930.[5]

Scarborough was commissioned at Chatham on 31 May, 1933 for service on the America and West Indies Station.[6]

She was re-commissioned at Chatham on 18 December, 1935 for service on the America and West Indies Station.[7]
