H.M.S. Romola was one of 62 destroyers of the "R" class.

Service

Upon completion, Romola and Sarpedon joined the Eleventh Destroyer Flotilla in September, 1916, being the first destroyers other than "M" class in that formation.[8]

Romola re-commissioned at Devonport on 27 April, 1920.[9]

Romola re-commissioned at Devonport on 20 December, 1923.[10]
