H.M.S. Retriever was one of 62 destroyers of the "R" class.
Service
Recommissioned in Reserve at the Nore on 8 December, 1919.[8]
Re-commissioned on 12 January, 1925.[9]
In August of 1925, Retriever, along with Raider, Rocket and Redgauntlet of the Portland Anti-Submarine Flotilla were selected to be scrapped.[10]
Following an earlier round of a flotilla leader and seventeen destroyers, Retriever was named in September 1925 as one of an additional fifteen destroyers to be scrapped in the fiscal year starting 1 April, 1926.[11]
