H.M.S. R 7 was one of 10 submarines of the "R" class.

Service

At the end of 1920, all "R" class submarines other than R 4 were allocated to Group "K" of Reserve submarines at Portsmouth under the collective command of Lieutenant Vyvyan R. S. Bowlby, tenders to Dolphin.[7]
