H.M.S. Osiris (1898)

H.M.S. Osiris was a commercial liner converted for use as an Armed Merchant Cruiser in the Royal Navy. As some point, she was renamed Osiris II, to free the name for the destroyer H.M.S. Osiris.

Service

Osiris ceased her work as an A.M.C. on 9 October 1914, but served as a depot ship from 11 April, 1915 through the end of the war. She was released from naval service on 10 March, 1920.[3]
