H.M.S. Opal was one of one hundred and three destroyers of the "M" class built for the Royal Navy during the Great War.

Service

Opal joined the Twelfth Destroyer Flotilla in April, 1916,[7] and operated with it at the Battle of Jutland.[8]

She ran aground in heavy fog and was lost, along with Narborough.
