H.M.S. M 2 was one of 4 submarines of the "M" class.

Service

In late 1920, submarines M 1, M 2 and M 3 were allocated to submarine reserve group "C" at Portsmouth, under the collective command of Commander Hubert Vaughan-Jones and tender to Dolphin.[6]

In 1923 while under the command of Henry Francis Morton Peto, M 2 collided with Cyclops and he was cautioned to exercise greater care in future.[7]
