H.M.S. Lydiard was one of twenty-two destroyers of the Laforey class.

Service

Lydiard collided with her sister Laforey in November 1914. Commander Edwards of Laforey was faulted for "careless navigation."[6]

Lydiard was damaged in a collision with the "R" Class destroyer Starfish ib 17 October, 1919.[7]

Lydiard paid off at Chatham on 4 June, 1920.[8]
