H.M.S. Lucifer was one of twenty-two destroyers of the Laforey class.

Service

Lucifer joined the Third Destroyer Flotilla after her commissioning. With 3 D.F., she would become part of the Harwich Striking Force in March, 1915. She remained with the flotilla through its redesignation as the Ninth Destroyer Flotilla in September 1915.

In March, 1917, Lucifer was transferred to the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla, which was a component of the Dover Patrol.

In June, she went to the First Destroyer Flotilla, which was under the command of Commander-in-Chief, Portsmouth.

Reduced to C. & M. Party at Devonport on 15 October, 1919.[6]
