H.M.S. Liberty was one of twenty-two destroyers of the Laforey class.

Service

At the Battle of Jutland, she operated as one of six Harwich Force destroyers screening the Second Battle Cruiser Squadron.[5]

Reduced to C. & M. Party at the Nore on 29 November, 1919.[6]

Habitability

In July 1914, it was decided not to supply portable fans to ventilate the Stokers' Mess Deck and the Chief and Petty Officers' Mess Deck.[7]
