H.M.S. L 26 was one of thirty-five "L" class submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

L 26 was commissioned for trials on 20 July, 1926. From at least mid-1927[6] to at least early 1929, she was with the First Submarine Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[7]

By mid-1931, she had been transferred to the Second Submarine Flotilla.[8]
