H.M.S. K 2 was one of 18 submarines of the "K" class.

Service

On 26 April 1920, she was one of three "K" class vessels comprising reserve submarine group "A" at Rosyth, under the collective command of Commander John F. Hutchings.[7]

On 10 January, 1924, she collided with K 12 as they departed Portland. Both were considerably damaged, K 2 having her bows smashed and K 12 with damage 20 feet from the bow on the port side..[8]

In 1925, she was part of the First Submarine Flotilla, operating with the Atlantic Fleet.[9] On 7 December, she paid off into Dockyard Control at Chatham.[10]
