H.M.S. Jed was one of 36 destroyers of the "River" class.

Service

In mid-1913, Jed was operating in the Mediterranean.[8]

Under the command of Lieutenant Mulock on 8 March, 1915, Jed was among several destroyers that went to the aid of the mined battleship Ocean, seeing Chelmer rescue 500 men.[9]
