H.M.S. Invincible was one of four Audacious Class central battery ironclads completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Invincible was re-commissioned at Malta on 22 March, 1882.[7]

Commissioned at Devonport on 23 November, 1886 for service in the Coast Guard Service in Southampton Water.[8]
