H.M.S. Hector served as a kite balloon ship in the Royal Navy from 12 May, 1915 until 24 May, 1916.

Service

Served in the Eastern Mediterranean in 1915 and 1916. After her decommissioning, she served as a hired troop ship and store carrier until the end of the war.[5]
