H.M.S. Halcyon was one of five torpedo gunboats of the Dryad class completed for the Royal Navy..

Construction & Service

The vessel participated in the Jubilee Naval Review and possibly the Annual Manoeuvres of 1897.[6]

On 29 July, 1917 Halcyon rammed and dropped a pair of depth charges off Yarmouth after sighting a periscope and was credited with sinking UB 27.
