H.M.S. Glowworm was one of twelve Insect class gunboats built for the Royal Navy.

Service

Glowworm was re-commissioned at Chatham on 23 March, 1920 and became the flagship of the Danube Flotilla.[6]

She re-commissioned at Galatz on 23 April, 1924.[7]

The gunboat paid off into Reserve at Malta on 14 September, 1925.[8]
