H.M.S. Forester was one of eighteen "E" and "F" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Portsmouth on 23 April, 1935.[3]

Re-commissioned at Portsmouth on 3 March, 1936 for service with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla of the Home Fleet.[4]
