Alterations
In October 1914, the ship was to be given 4 Pattern 1582 Electric Radiators to warm cabins whose stoves could not be used for heating them.[6]
Falmouth was lost before she could be fitted with a director.[7]

- Captain John Douglas Edwards, December 1913,[9] in command at the outbreak of war,[10] and at Battle of Jutland.[11]
