H.M.S. Coquette was one of eleven destroyers of the "D" class — one of the two-funneled "30 knotters".

Service

In 1904, she was involved in a collision with the destroyer Myrmidon.[8]

She was one of twenty-seven T.B.Ds. of the Portsmouth Flotilla to participate in the Annual Manoeuvres of 1909.[9]

She left the Nore to exercise with five other destroyers and seven torpedo boats of the Nore Defence Flotilla on 18 June, 1912.[10]

In mid-1913, she was serving at The Nore.[11]
