H.M.S. Cambrian was one of four Cambrian class light cruisers completed in 1915 and 1916.

Service

She commissioned at Rosyth on 10 May, 1919.[7]

Cambrian paid off into dockyard control on 12 June, 1924.[8]

She re-commissioned at Chatham on 17 August, 1926 for service with the Second Cruiser Squadron in the Atlantic Fleet.[9]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 31 December, 1928 for duty with the Second Cruiser Squadron in the Atlantic Fleet.[10]

She was re-commissioned at Chatham on 18 March, 1931.[11]

Alterations

Cambrian was fitted with a director in May, 1918. This alteration required her pole mast to be replaced with a tripod mast for greater rigidity.[12]
