H.M.S. C 27 was one of thirty-eight "C" class coastal submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

While operating in the Seventh Submarine Flotilla as part of the Firth of Forth Local Defence Flotilla,[5] C 27 sank U 23 off Fair Island on 20 July, 1915.[6]
