H.M.S. C 13 was one of thirty-eight "C" class coastal submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

C 13 left Sheerness on 25 April, 1914 to make her way to Harwich to resume her duties with the Sixth Submarine Flotilla.[5]

She stayed with the formation when it was re-designated the Second Submarine Flotilla in December, 1916.

In September or October 1918, she joined the Third Submarine Flotilla on the East Coast of England.
