H.M.S. Bristol was one of five Bristol class cruisers completed for the Royal Navy in 1910.

Service

Bristol commissioned at Devonport 17 December, 1910. She was serving with Second Fleet out of Devonport in mid-1913, until ordered to be recommissioned at Devonport on 1 July for service in the Second Light Cruiser Squadron.[8]

Bristol recommissioned on 4 May, 1916.[9]

Bristol under the command of Captain George James Todd‎ and Dartmouth were part of the Allied naval force that sortied from Brindisi in the Battle of the Strait of Otranto on 14-15 May, 1917. Bristol was not damaged in the indecisive and confused action.

She was reduced to a C. & M. Party at Portsmouth in January, 1920.[10]
