H.M.S. Arun was one of 36 destroyers of the "River" class.

Service

In late 1905, Arun was in commission on the China Station.[8]

By January, 1907 she had returned to Britain and was part of the Channel Fleet's Third Flotilla.[9]

In early 1910 she had joined the Second Destroyer Flotilla.[10]

In mid-1913, she was doing patrol work with the Ninth Destroyer Flotilla.[11]

In April 1914, she was tender to Iron Duke.
